Willowbrook Solar I, LLC (“Willowbrook”) is a 150 Megawatt solar-powered electric generation facility soon to start construction in Brown County and Highland County, Ohio. Willowbrook Solar I, LLC is a subsidiary of RWE, one of the leading international providers of renewable energy.

In September of 2018, Willowbrook (Case No. 18-1024-EL-BGN) submitted an Application for a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need (the “Application”) to the Ohio Power Siting Board (“OPSB”).  This web page provides access to Willowbrook’s Application in addition to general information about solar energy.
